Recycling Projects


CBR Lixhe (B)

In this project, Saxlund supplied the silo with push floor discharge as well as the conveying technology including oversized grain and iron particle separation from the SBS fuels for the CBR HeidelbergCement Group cement plant in Lixhe


Slough Heat & Power - Fibre Fuel


Slough Heat & Power supply electrical power and some district heating within the Slough Trading Estate area. They have an existing boiler plant but have installed a boiler dedicated to burning waste materials. This waste is largely shredded and partially densified paper, cardboard and plastics. This is stored in a Saxlund Push Floor bunker mounted at ground level so it can be loaded either from tipping vehicles that drive onto the Push Floor area or from overhead conveyors.


Ribblesdales Tyre Chip Handling Plant

In 2002 Saxlund International Ltd supplied a tyre chip truck reception bunker equipped with the SAXLUND Push Floor discharge machine at the existing Ribblesdale Tyre Chip Handling Plant. The Push Floor discharges the tyre chips to our metering belt conveyor with scalping drum and belt weighing system. This conveys the material in a metered fashion from the bunker to the Bucket Elevator.
