We have extensive experience with all materials from wet stringy bark through to dry sander dust, as well as recycled wood.
As the industry has grown and environmental considerations have become more important, larger raw material stores have become necessary and these very often now inside by using a large silo or a rectangular building equipped with a reclaimer. To this end, Saxlund International has a licence agreement for the famous TUBEFEEDERTM machine.
Our biomass energy plants are also common in the Industry to enable low grade timber residue and waste fuels to be used as a heat source for chip dryers as well as hot thermal oil for press lines.
