The Cement Industry has for many years relied upon Saxlund International to supply their rugged silo and bunker technology for use in a variety of applications. These can be divided into two fundamental areas:   Alternative Energy and Raw Materials.

More recently, we have supplied silo systems for MBM (Meat and Bone Meal) material as a fuel. We have also supplied equipment for handling low grade wet coal fines as well as systems for Pet Coke. 

Alternative Energy

Here we have designed and supplied many systems to handle whole used tyres, chopped tyres as well as a variety of other chopped or granular non free flowing combustible waste products. 

Raw Materials 

Here our work has been involved with various types of wet shale, mined gypsum rock, synthetic gypsum, FGD gypsum, lagoon ash from coal fired power stations etc.
